INTRODUCTION
Privacy protection and keeping anonymity of the LocoMe users are LocoZone’s priorities. Apart from that, the very idea behind this solution is based on contact and information exchange between people who don’t know each other with an option of mutual keeping of anonymity. The data you entrust us is safe and we closely follow all your rights.
Any use of the LocoMe service means accepting the rules set in this Privacy Policy.
GATHERING AND USING THE DATA
The use of the LocoMe service requires registration, during which we will ask you to provide us with your e-mail, login and a password. The e-mail will be used only to verify the user and contact data. The user himself/herself can set his/her privacy level and decide whether his/her address will be visible to others or not. The login is also a username and is publicly visible. The password is not stored in any recognisable form, so it is only known to the user.
While filling the personal profile form, you will be asked to give a few personal data, such as your full name, e-mail, telephone number, photo, interests and so on. Disclosing this information will make your profile more complete, but it’s not obligatory. Also, publishing your personal data for other users to view is your choice alone, and depends from your privacy settings. Additionally, you can always modify or delete this information (see: Changing Your Personal Data).
The LocoMe idea and functionality is based largely on location. That’s why we gather and publish your localisation data. This data will only be accessible to other users if you allow them so through your privacy settings. If you turn on the option of showing your location, every time you connect to our server, the application will read your location and tie it to other LocoMe functions (photos, for example). You can disconnect from server any time. You can also switch the location option off.
During the user’s visit to the LocoMe website, some data, such as IP address, domain name and so on, will be gathered automatically. This information will be used only for statistical and technical purposes – page view statistics, user behaviour, gathering demographic data, website personalisation and troubleshooting.
The LocoMe service can use cookies– small text files (stored in the user’s computer) needed to login the user and to profile the information directed to him/her.
DThe data used during the exchange of mail between the user and the service provider (e-mail, the content of the information and so on) are safely stored and will not be accessible to any third party. This information will be used only for the purpose of communication with the user.
LocoZone Sp. z o.o. reserves the right to send users administrative information connected directly with running the LocoMe service (system announcements, changes in functionality and so on), as well as occasional messages (greetings, etc.).
The user can also choose in his/her privacy settings to receive commercial and promotional information from the LocoMe and its partners.
We will never sell or disclose your data in any recognisable form to any third party. The personal data can only be disclosed to the authorised entities, and only based on current regulations (the Inspector General for the Protection of Personal Data, justice bodies), in the event of a breach of the LocoMe service Regulations, acting to the LocoMe detriment or if the law requires so.
LocoZone Sp. z o.o. is not responsible for the user data (personal and localisation), made public by the user.
CHANGING YOUR PERSONAL DATA
In accordance with the personal data protection act of 29th August, 1997 (Dz.U. nr 133, pos. 833), the user has the right to view, alter or delete his/her personal data.
Every LocoMe user can individually modify his/her personal data and settings any time, through the LocoMe website. The complete deletion of the user account, including all his/her data, is possible through a contact with the service administrator via email (see: Contact)
DATA PROTECTION
Our database, containing LocoMe user’s personal data, is tightly secured and protected from any third party. The protection meets all industry standards.
CHANGES IN PRIVACY POLICY
LocoZone Sp. z o.o. reserves the right to modify the aforementioned LocoMe Privacy Policy. All changes will be published on the www.locome.pl website. Any use of the service means accepting those changes
